Football Best Formation (Personal Choice)

I'm a fan of football, watch and enjoy playing football ever since I'm young. My favorite team are the Manchester United Football Club from Manchester, England. The England football hype started when our country officially attain the right to broadcast games in 1992, I had been playing football managers since 2002, so in my opinion, the 4-4-1-1 formation suits the modern game.I shall start from the back, every teams needs a pair of strong center backs.

Center backs : i would prefer them to be tall and man marking, as they often deals with aerial challenges, and the last man before the goalkeeper.

Wing backs/full back : every since the introduction by the brazillians, this position stays on every team sheets, they are defenders on the flanks that will move forward to support the winger on the flanks, they play a pivotal role in launching a swift attacks from the flanks, i would prefer them to be fast and good in marking as well.

Winger (side midfielder) : Their role is to support the team's attacking need from the flanks via deadly crosses to feet or head for the strikers to score from, they are fast and good in dribbling as they always find themselves facing up to one opponent, a good cross is a priority especially when opponent crowds the center of the field.

Center Midfielders: i would prefer one with an eye for the killer ball, another with a high work rate and tackling abilities. as they are the key for connecting the defences and the attacks.

Second Striker (hole) : i would prefer them to be playing short passes and the freedom to roam on the pitch either going forward through the middle or the flanks, they also support the main striker.

Striker (center forward) : The goal-getter of the game, goals win games, that is why the are important and the most famous of all the position in the game. The work by going at the end of crosses from wingers or running on to the through pass by the center midfielders, in certain tactics, the also work as a target-man when a long pass in played forward, and it is their duty to battle in the air for the ball and holding it for the second striker to feed on or even for skilled forwards to bring the ball and score.

This is currently the tactics I'm employing for my game, and i continue to study Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United's play to enchance my knowledge.
